Protection While On Consignment

A popular way to sell your RV is to put it on consignment with a local RV dealership. The RV dealership will then sell the unit in return for a fee. This may be a great way to sell your current RV, but it also creates a gap in insurance for many RV policyholders. Insurance policies typically exclude coverage while on consignment and the dealership has no insurable interest in the RV and therefore cannot insure the vehicle on their policy.

Make sure you have insurance coverage when your RV is on consignment! Find a company that will allow you to buy consignment coverage for your RV. The Blue Sky RV Insurance product offers consignment RV insurance that removes the standard consignment exclusion in the policy.
