A question that is commonly asked when obtaining an RV insurance quote is, "How much are you currently paying?" The first instinct many have is to not share this information, thinking the insurance company is looking to get as much out of you as they can. However, insurance rates are not the same as the price at the gas pump - they do not change every hour. States regulate the cost of RV insurance and each state typically has to approve the rates for each company long before you ever request a quote.
So don't be afraid to share your current cost of insurance with your agent. Chances are, sharing this information will give the agent ideas on how to best save you money without giving up too much coverage.

Is that correct that sharing will not affect in the proposed offer at ? What if current policy is expensive that the one being offered ? If you say that it will not affect at all I will not hide this information from my agent. Thanks for helping out.
